Sunset Mow Yard Mastery Custom Trucker Hat - Curved Bill

This is our custom Yard Mastery trucker hat called "Sunset Mow." It's an old-school trucker hat with a modern fit.

I had these hats custom-made to resemble the old school trucker hats I would find in Treasure Island, FL surf shops when I was a kid. This was the 1980s when surf shops were still independent and therefore unique (today they are just chain stores). 

I have given these a modern fit and feel across the bill and inside the band. They also have a mesh back.

This design reflects a beautiful sunset mow. That's me behind a Toro Timemaster.

This hat has a black brim and black mesh back that will fade a little when the sun hits it making this a perfectly wearable hat all day anyday.

The Fit: When you first get this hat, it's going to feel like it sits high in front. Remember, this is an "old school trucker hat with a modern fit" so it's got a really wide and tall front panel to show off the colors.

HOWEVER: this hat is one that will get better over time. I've been wearing them now for 2 months and over that time as I have worked and sweated in it, let the sun beat on it, let it get squashed in my truck... it now fits perfectly. It's like it's formed to my head and now fits like that favorite old T-shirt that you've owned for the last 10 years. You know the one... this is the hat version.

There are a few pics here that show me wearing the hat after it's been broken in. These are unique hats and I really had them made for me so if no one else likes them, I'll have a lifetime supply and that's cool with me!
