Triad Select is a concentrated liquid herbicide designed for use on established cool-season and select warm-season lawns. It is an effective step up from many store-bought weed killers and is commonly used to manage dandelion, clover, chickweed, wild onion, broadleaf plantain, and other labeled broadleaf weeds.

Note: Triad Select may suppress ground ivy and creeping Charlie, but triclopyr is generally a better choice for controlling these weeds. Always verify target weeds on the current product label before application.

Approved Turf Types

• Triad Select can be used on the following labeled cool-season and select warm-season turfgrasses:
  
• Cool-Season Lawns: Kentucky bluegrass, Turf-Type Tall Fescue (all fescues), Ryegrass
  
• Warm-Season Lawns: Bermuda, Zoysia
  
• Do not use on Centipede, St. Augustine, or Bahia grass
  

Size Options and Coverage

Coverage is based on an application rate of 1.5 oz per 1,000 sq. ft.

• Quart (32 oz): Covers up to 21,300 sq. ft.
  
• Gallon (128 oz): Covers up to 85,300 sq. ft.

Application Information

• Mix 1.5 oz of Triad Select with 1 gallon of water.
  
• Apply the solution evenly across 1,000 sq. ft. of lawn.
  
• Use a pump or battery-powered sprayer for accurate application.
  
• Do not apply Triad Select with a hose-end sprayer.
  
• Apply as a spot treatment or blanket spray, depending on the severity and distribution of the weeds.
  
• Do not apply when temperatures are above 90°F. If temperatures are high, apply in the evening when temperatures fall below 90°F and use spot spraying instead of a blanket application.
  
• A non-ionic surfactant may be added to improve spray coverage and product adhesion, although it is not required. Follow the product label for surfactant use.
  
• Do not water the product in after application; allow it to remain on the treated foliage.
  
• Do not apply to turfgrass varieties listed as prohibited on the product label, such as Centipede, St. Augustine, or Bahia grass. 
• Keep people and pets off treated areas until the spray solution has dried.
  
• Always read and follow the current product label for application timing, turf restrictions, weed targets, and safety requirements.
