How the Halloween Domination Pack Works

The Halloween Domination Pack uses two fertilizers that work together, applied several days apart.

• Step 1: 16-0-0 Double Dark (7–14 days before Halloween). Double Dark is a granular fertilizer with nitrogen, 6% iron, and micronutrients. It builds dark green color and supports overall turf health. Spread it at the recommended rate, then water it in.
  
• Step 2: 26-0-0 GreeneCharge (2–3 days before Halloween). GreeneCharge is an enhanced-efficiency, controlled-release liquid nitrogen fertilizer with micronutrients. Sprayed with the included hose-end sprayer, it gives a fast color boost and doesn’t need to be watered in.
  

Applied in this order, while your grass is actively growing, the two products give your lawn a noticeable dark blue-green color in a short time.

Application Information

Double Dark Granular Fertilizer

• Apply 7–14 days before Halloween.
  
• Spread 3 lb per 1,000 sq ft on a dry lawn.
  
• Water in within 48 hours with about ¼ inch of rainfall or irrigation.
  
• Do not apply to saturated soil.
  
• Blow or sweep any granules off sidewalks, driveways, and other hard surfaces to help prevent staining.
  

GreeneCharge Liquid Fertilizer

• Apply 2–3 days before Halloween with the included hose-end sprayer.
  
• Shake well before and during application to keep the formula mixed.
  
• Each quart covers about 2,000 sq ft. One quart can be stretched to cover up to 3,000 sq ft.
  
• No watering-in is needed when applied with the included hose-end sprayer.
