Allyn has talked about “Halloween Lawn Domination” for years, and this is the pack you want for the maximum green on October 31 (or anytime, really).

Since all the parents have to stand in the street and wait while the kids come up to the door, you know they are looking at and judging your lawn! This pack will let them know, “you’ve been dominated.”

Of course, this is all in good fun and the better way to do it is to sit outside and engage with those neighbors, sharing with them the things you’ve learned about lawn care. It’s also a great way to teach them the secrets of a dark green lawn: Nitrogen + Iron. 

Here's a little more about each product: 

• 16-0-0 Double Dark: This granular fert blend will do just what the name implies: make your lawn double dark green. It's really that simple - green and more green. Contains 6% iron and other micronutrients for healthy support of a lawn.
• 26-0-0 GreeneCharge: This liquid fert is an enhanced efficiency controlled-release liquid nitrogen plus micronutrients all-purpose fertilizer for all turf types. Brings visual results in just 2-3 days.

The two of these applied within just a few days of one another makes for a striking dark blue-green lawn in any turf type. 

Application Information:

Double Dark: Throw down 7-14 days prior to Halloween, applying at the rate of 3 lbs per 1,000 sq ft. Water this in. This covers up to 6,000 sq ft.

GreeneCharge: Spray 2-3 days prior to Halloween. No need to water it in. Each quart is designed to cover 2,000 sq ft but you can stretch each one to 3,000 sq ft for the desired effect. Here is a video about how to use a quart hose-end sprayer.

The Halloween Pack can be used on the following grasses:

• Cool Season Lawns - Kentucky Bluegrass, Turf Type Tall Fescue (all fescues), Ryegrass.
• Warm Season Lawns - Bermuda, St Augustine, Zoysia, Centipede, Bahia.
