How the Seeding Support Pack Works

• 16-21-2 GreenePOP Starter Fertilizer is a liquid starter fertilizer that gives new seedlings a strong start. It’s high in phosphorus to build root mass, and nitrogen fuels early top growth. It also contains micronutrients, humic acid, and sea kelp to support microbial activity and new roots, plus liquid aeration to open space in the soil so roots can grow deeper.
  
• Compaction Cure is a 0-0-5 bio-stimulant that increases micronutrient uptake and creates space in the soil, so new roots can grow deep and wide.
  
• Moisture Max is a moisture management product. Its humectants hold water in the soil, its penetrating surfactant breaks surface tension so water soaks in instead of running off, and its 4% sea kelp encourages deeper roots. Proper watering is the most important part of seeding, and Moisture Max helps every watering go further.
  
• Mesotrione is a pre-emergent herbicide that’s uniquely suited to seeding. It helps prevent weeds from competing with your new grass while it gets established.
  

Approved Turf Types

The Seeding Support Pack is designed for cool-season lawns, including:

• Kentucky bluegrass
  
• Perennial ryegrass
  
• Turf-type tall fescue (all fescues)
  

The Starter Fertilizer, Compaction Cure, and Moisture Max in this pack are safe for all grass types. The Mesotrione is not for use on Bermudagrass, zoysiagrass, bentgrass, kikuyugrass, or seashore paspalum. Always read and follow the current product label for approved turf types.

Application Information

Prepare your lawn or seedbed and put your seed down first. Then apply the products in this order:

1. 16-21-2 GreenePOP Starter Fertilizer: Apply both quarts with the included hose-end sprayer
2.  Compaction Cure: Apply both quarts with the included hose-end sprayer
3. Moisture Max: Apply with the included hose-end sprayer. Each quart covers up to 5,300 sq ft.
   Moisture Max must be watered in with at least ¼ inch of water to work. The final watering in Step 5 takes care of this.
4. Mesotrione: Apply 1 teaspoon per 1,000 sq ft. Apply with a pump sprayer or battery-powered sprayer. Do not use a hose-end sprayer to apply Mesotrione. Do not use on Bermudagrass, zoysia, bentgrass, kikuyugrass, seashore paspalum, or other turf types listed as prohibited on the label.
5. Cover and water: Apply a seed covering, such as peat moss or PatchMaster. Water everything in with about ½ inch of water across the whole area.
6. Do not apply to saturated soil.
7. Rinse any overspray off sidewalks, driveways, and other hard surfaces to help prevent staining.
