Meet Jimmy Lewis

Jimmy Lewis had some fun comparing results in his cool season turf in Utah between the 8-1-8 XGN DIY Homogenous Turf and Ornamental Fertilizer
and ProPeat Lawn Fertilizers.

One of our goals at Yard Mastery is to bring to market quality products that we think would work great for DIYers.

XGN (XGreen) has been around now for 2 seasons and is a great fert for Low Nitrogen applications but also boasts higher potassium than most ferts. It's also got that slow release chicken manure infused into the biochar and laced with peptides.

ProPeat is new to us but has been around for a while. Manufactured in Idaho, it's a peat based fertilizer that can deliver a nice pop from nigher N with lower K. It also adds nice carbon structure to the soil as it releases nutrients.
